The durable corners allow for like sizes to be stacked on top of each other in either the upright or collapsed position.

Side Panel Screws

Eight additional points of connection are created via side panel screws. Panel screws improve crate stability and reduce rattling and/or excess noise. Threaded inserts are pre-installed on the sides of each crate to make for easy assembly. When not in use, simply store screws in the threaded inserts found on the bottom of each side rail.

This frame acts as a rugged backbone for your crate adding unparalleled strength, structural integrity, and safety. All external features connect directly into the frame giving your crate extra support where needed most.

Can I switch the direction of the door?

It depends on the crate. Stationary and Separation Anxiety crate doors can switch directions. Due to the nature of the hinge design the Collapsible crates cannot. Contact us with your specific needs and we’ll customize your crate to suit you and your dog.

Do you offer custom crate sizes?

The aluminum skins we use to build our crates are specifically designed for our listed crate sizes. As a result, we are unable to make custom sizes. We have a list of awesome people who make custom sized dog crates/kennels. Reach out to us and we’d be happy to share their contact information.

Can I take a Rock Creek Crate on a commercial airline flight?

Yes! The Stationary and Collapsible crates can become airline compliant with the IATA door guard and airline rails which can be found on our Accessories page. Each airline has specific requirements for flying with pet cargo; we highly recommend contacting your chosen airline in advance.

Are your crates crash tested?

"I might get a bit longer one if I could do it again, but my dog fits and it’s quite sturdy and will travel better than what I had before. Issue I ran into right away was I have hardwood floors so the inside of the crate and the crate itself were noisy but I just put a blanket under it like a rug and that’s ok now. Also not that these are not standard crate sizes, so you either need to get the pad from here or consult the size chart and get something that will fit inside if you want a bed as the floor is solid aluminum and my dog is not comfortable on just that."

40” Collapsible Crate

"We purchased this crate for our 4 month old American Bulldog puppy, hoping this will be his crate for at least a year or more. We went with the collapsible version because we want to travel with him quite a bit and when we aren’t traveling we can have it setup in our bedroom. First thing we noticed is the construction. This crate is built to withstand anything. Second was the ease of getting it setup and broken down. We took our first trip to New Jersey from Florida and we sold on the ease of use. The third most important aspect was Yogi took to it immediately. This was his second crate, after the crate we brought him home in, so I was a little apprehensive on how he might take to it. He has acted like it was his home all along. We could not be more impressed or thankful for the quality in construction or the absolute dream of a customer service experience we had with Rock Creek."

Glad I switched brands.

"Needed new crates for camp and have been a long time Impact Crates customer. Wanted to find a new company due to some questionable trainers Impact hired to promote their brand. I found rock creek and ordered two collapsible 48” crates. The crates themselves are heavier and designed better. They’re sturdy, the butterfly clips on the doors are added security, and the walls are thicker. I love that the mats are waterproof and the guards for the doors are designed wonderfully, with the attachments outside to not give the dog anything to latch onto. Very happy with my purchase, and the customer service was great. Also loved the stock price color options as opposed to plain grey. Would love to see a water bowl attachment available in the future."
